About me
I am a singer/songwriter and guitarist from Rochester, NY. In the summer of 2022, I released my debut album The Perfect View. It was a massive undertaking that took me nearly a year. It was written, performed, and engineered entirely by myself. Prior to my album, I released my first three singles, “One Day,” “Wildflowers” (Tom Petty), and “Real at All," respectively, all throughout 2021. Finally, after a nearly four-year hiatus from releasing new material, I put out my two-song EP Love My Town / Wild in February of this year. My music blends elements of folk, blues, soft rock, and country from a wide range of artists, including Jackson Browne, Paul Simon, CSNY (together & individually), The Beatles, and Andy Shauf. My live shows consist of a split between acoustic covers of familiar classics and my own original material.
In contrast to my solo music, I have been the lead singer, guitarist, and co-songwriter in the Rochester-based rock band Blue Envy for the last 8 years. I am also a founding member of this group. Together, we have released three EPs and two singles. We have also performed extensively throughout the Northeast. Our music can be described as rock with progressive tendencies, eliciting comparisons to Rush, Black Sabbath, Cream and other bands from the classic rock era. We have opened for successful touring acts, such as Thank You Scientist, Electric Six, Millington, and Deaf Poets. Patrick Hosken of Rochester's City Magazine wrote the following about the band, “There’s excitement in how accurately Blue Envy can capture the tried-and-true electricity of some of the biggest rock bands to ever do it. That bodes well for the next stop on their journey.”
Since the summer of 2024, I have been a substitute musician in the Rochester-based pop band Kopps. With this group, I have served as both guitarist and occasional bassist. Known for their captivating live sets, Kopps boasts an impressive choreography routine that, I believe, has helped me become a more well-rounded performer. From July to August of 2024, we embarked on a 17-date tour of the United States supporting the electronic band 53 Thieves. In August of 2025, we toured the midwest opening for Boy Jr. Additionally, I received the opportunity to open for Bad Suns and Joywave as a part of Kopps.
